Meet Me at the Door

Meet me at the door.

Dress in best clothes

I will wait here,

Meet me at the door An evening walk

Beside the foggy lake

May take us somewhere,

Don’t you think? You are drawn excruciatingly

Clear against the fog, blurry,

Makes me feel at ease,

That I don't want to believe. I don't walk close,

Don't mind me

I am anxious,

It is not new. The way you blink,

Makes my heart flick.

I promise you,

It is not new. Your hand, it slightly

Reach mine at moments,

I feel it through

But it's not new. My mind is melting

Through my mouth

Pardon me for it,

It is not new. You stop by the door,

Your scent turns around

Enduring in my mind,

And it is not new. I will meet you at the door

You won't recognize otherwise.

I will wait here again

Meet me at the door.
