Meditation

By Mrunmayi Joshi

Where only breath begins to play,

I drift in silence, far away.

No thought to chase, no world to see—

Just boundless space surrounding me.

Eyes now close, the world turns slight,

Within me stirs a softer light.

The mind grows still, the pulse is slow,

Like moonlight on a field of snow.

Awareness shines, so pure, so bright,

No self remains, yet all is light.

My steady head begins to rise,

As if it floats through endless skies.

No sense of time, no ticking sound,

Just peace that knows no edge, no bound.

I pass beyond the earthly frame,

Where time and self are just a name.

How deep this peace, how vast, how wide—

A stillness rising from inside.

Each breath reveals a clearer view,

And I return to what is true.

A lotus blooms in realms unknown,

With love that’s deeper than my own.

It spills a nectar, rich and wise,

In hues of purple paradise.

From formless heights, a whisper calls,

A sweetness from the silence falls.

The stream of Brahman, pure and free,

Now flows as one, through soul and me.
