Meant to be...

A zephyr rustled through my hair

while I was whimpering at the stars,

retrospecting my longing for the stimulating part.

Little did I know what stimulating was.

The ship would have sunk a long while ago,

but I had chained it to my dreams.

And now I feel uncharted from

my voyage, where I was meant to be.

But now I doubt my soulless cry

as I hear the stars-they're calling me.

There I was, wandering again

at the crossroad of desire and doubt.

Had I known what it always was but

a mystic dance of life that I always was

a part of.

I had been caught in the orphic moss

of the thousand lives I was a part of.

I had been strangled, now and then,

by the haunting past that had always been.

But now I finally had the urge

to break through every latch of surge

and become a part of what I always was,

as I voyaged through the twinkling stars.
