Maybe Monsters Are Not Always Evil

People fear monsters… Ghosts and those shattered souls.

Aren’t the dead the dwellers of the dark, too afraid to come out into light.

Aren’t the dead the most empathetic, too desperate to relive the hopes of a human.

Aren’t the dead the most afraid? Aren’t they the most hopeless?

And so do I love to be lost in the darkest of the darknesses just… to be found by those lost souls.

Isn’t the dark the best cure for loneliness? Aren’t the lost the best company to the lost?
