Maybe

Maybe it wasn't real.

Maybe it wasn't meant to be.

Maybe my efforts were, just a small deal.

Maybe I was never the.......... "SHE".


Maybe the spark ended before it begun.

Maybe the fire died before turning fierce.

Maybe the sea grew calm before it could rise.

Maybe the tear dried before it could fall.


Maybe it was, God knows..all MY fault.

Maybe it didn't mattered just enough.

Maybe I was living in a reverie.

Maybe it was just my heart, that was ready.


But Maybe in the quiet of the night, 

I'll find peace in letting go.

Maybe in the breaking of dawn's light,

I will learn to heal and grow.
