Maybe

Some thought she was forlorn yet a dream.

While others just thought her mean.

She was never the one to cause a scene.

But that didn’t mean she went unseen.

Owing to the fact that she was in fact a ‘has been’.

Gone were those days, when hers was the face,

 In the posters you could see.

Regaining that former glory, 

Overstating would be to say ‘Maybe’.

Because she no longer wanted to be the queen bee.

She just wanted a corner for herself and to enjoy the Solidarity.

She never believed that a single experience could alter your entire personality.

Now she looks you dead in the eye and says; ‘Maybe’.
