Marked By My Pen

Updated: Jul 5, 2025

By Kausar Kaashifa

If you say something to make me smile,

You’ll be remembered in my writing

Each time you cross my mind.

You’ll find pretty words lingering on every page

And little red hearts flying in between.

But if your words bring me pain,

You’ll be marked by my black pen forever.

I’ll write and rewrite, again and again,

Until my heart forgets,

Or memory fades away.
