Make Me Worthy of Her

Oh baby, I love you so much,

It’s hard to trust the path I touch.

People say I’ve lost my way,

Chasing a dream too far to stay.

But they don’t see what I behold –

Your divine hand, silent and gold.

I must be worthy to touch even a finger,

So my soul won’t in this world just linger.

If by fate you’re truly mine,

I’ll pass the test, I’ll walk the line.

Let the gods be kind, not cruel,

Let this longing not make me a fool.

I don’t know how to speak or what to say,

But if you come, you’ll see my way.

And I won’t need to say a word –

Your soul will know, it will have heard.

So if my love is truly pure,

Oh God, make me worthy of her.
