Who saved our lives, 

Protected the nation 

By sacrificing their lives…

Salute to the ones 

Who fought so bravely 

That people like us 

Write stories and poetry…

Salute to the one 

Who rode his tank 

Fought all the enemies 

With a gun in his hand.

His olive uniform,

Maroon cap on the head,

Badge on the right 

And medals on the left… 

Salute to the one 

Who gave up his home

And left his family 

For the nation’s growth.

Who fought till the end, 

No words to commend 

His actions of bravery 

That lead his team to victory…

Salute to the one 

Who inspires everyday 

Salute to the sun

Who gave his nation the way…
