MADNESS FOR LIFE

Reading a poem

like opening the tin of a treasure,

like diving into the heaviness of the heart.

So intimately informing

the inner dimension of insanity.

Routing in line unknown to reality.

Filled with a parade of fantasies,

pulling each string off

still to find another layer of life.

Whitening the violet and scarlet,

to entangle the loosened animal

threatening to blow up the beast

never been out of the night.

The word not warning but burning

up the energy to tame the wild

into the path of patience

until the snore and the sound

mastered into music,

needed not to touch each

but destroying the world

into madness for life.
