Mad Women in Love

A woman runs around the streets

like mad 

 in the months of December and Jan 

Her naked body shivers 

she covers her scars with a torn cloth 

The glass of broken beer bottles bruising her bare toes 

She shouts at villagers passing by how flowers will fall as rain the day they meet again 

Telling them about the promises he made to make her his bride 

She cries saying how she broke her limbs and went blind while searching  for his blue eyes 

The same blue eyes who saw her with love and grace 

 she still believes he'll see her  burned body the same way 

The only aspiration she ever had was to be his  perfect wife 

A kid listening to the mad women yells 

"What if he tells you he's in love with someone else  ?

Her smile disappears her pride fades 

Then she again smiles and says 

" I'll  just place my one small request..too let him rip my heart apart and break my skull , to repeat this till my breath stops and let me die in his arms "

But she never met the man she looked for all her life she died drowing in feces  and blood piles without knowing he stood with his maiden from afar listening to her screams  his lies 

wishing how he never wants to meet her in his life
