Luminous Longing

I promised I wouldn't cry,

But it's hard to stop the tears in my eye.

Every second, as I think about you,

The words on my mind start feeling so true.

I wait for the time when we hold hands and walk,

And yearn for the moments when I gaze into your eyes while you talk.

I miss you more than you know,

And I'll never stop... until I meet your eyes with a luminous glow.

The way I crave for you doesn't seem right,

But I can't stop the thoughts of you in my mind tonight.

I opened my heart to you like a book,

And tried to read yours, to know your outlook.

Your smile lured me, making me addicted to you,

And you'll be the one I'll always end up with, even if we argue.

My blue, know that,

Like the moon misses the sun in the night sky,

I think I'll miss you forever, and that's not a lie.
