Loving Myself

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath,

Kept hand on my heart waiting to feel it

Wanted to ponder upon what I did,

But failed, alas!

My shivering soul waiting for a hand,

Lost completely, don’t know how to amend.

Listened to everyone, tried to be a good girl,

But I am losing myself, my world is upside down and in a whirl.

But leaving everything behind,

Trying to fall in love,

Trying to be fragrant like lavender or melodious like a dove.

After falling in love with myself I finally found my utopia,

This is how epiphany became the cause of my euphoria.
