LOVERS’ SONG, ACROSS THE VALLEY

Can you hear the loud siren of revolt

That resonates across the blood-red valley

Can you hear the silent whispers of truth

That blows gently through the nightmare’s alley.

The cries of crows, the nested death

The dreamless moon, the frozen breath

And the fired rage that keeps all awake

Will scream out loud as the new dawn breaks.

You and I, will be there

As the burning earth will grasp for air

You and I, will hold our hands

As humankind reclaims their land

You and I, will kiss once more

As the long-lost love will proudly roar

And you and I, will stand firm and strong

As the eternity hymns all lovers' songs.
