Like a trouble-free wind,

You move swiftly.

Your moves are like an ornament

To the moment our eyes meet.

Like a garland on an empty neck

And a balm to a heavy chest

Your eyes are the same to my longevity.

There are very less things,

I let bother me.

Your eyes and smile are one of ’em

I believe.

Linger on my door longer

Than your perfume does in my mind.

Don’t forget to brush your hands against mine

Even during a hasty goodbye.

For love I know very little of,

But I understand the change in my daylights.

Never was I this restless,

I’ve started connecting dots, why now am I?

Only fools like me express themselves through poems

When all the excellent lovers do from their eyes.

There’s so much that’s hidden

My darling from thy.

Your name slips out my lips, rolling down my tongue

Like a wisteria hanging from a grounded tree.

And there’s nothing in the world that baffles my curiosity,

More than a solemn prayer slipping out of someone’s mouth for other’s calamities.

My dining table speaks the words that remain unspoken,

As the ceramic I’ve painted remains broken.

Since a child’s wish is heard better by your God,

I’d lay in the earth’s womb Praying you’d belong to me.
