Lovely Scarry Night
By Sriram Panda
Life is a secret, mystery, full of darkness,
I'm not an evil, but a man with kindness.
Don't come in to the dark,
ghosts are around,
There the dogs bark.
Me and my shadow,
We both on our way.
Not knowing the end,
Nor any anybody can say.
Wait at every station,
I fear of empty platforms.
Doesn't the scary sounds come,
From those light blinking bathrooms.
With only my shadow,
I fear again in the train.
Although some ghosts can be lovely,
You'll forget all your pain.
My eyes saw a beauty,
Who sat in front of me in the train.
Never imagined in my life,
I would ever fall for a woman.
There we stared at each other for so long,
Didn't I fall asleep,
Listening to her sweet romantic song.
Her voice was unbelievably sweet,
I broke my sleep just to hear more of it.
Then we talked a lot and finally saying bye,
She gave me a sweet lovely kiss.
I said bye too and she's the only one the most I'll miss.
No doubt I'd fallen for that beautiful face in the train,
but what scary was there's no pulse when I touched her vein.
