Love & War

Original Submission by Ieshia Winston

Love & War

Sometimes I get over critical of things I see

This situation seems to bleed

Into my dreams

And disappear

When I try answering

A question you didn’t ask

Then my eyes notice

Your passion

My heart becomes your ration

And I fade away to a basket

Of your affections

Of love erected

In serenity and amazement
