I used to love a guy,

Secretly,

From afar.

We were best friends,

Maybe not that best,

Yet good friends.

He didn’t feel for me,

That special way,

The butterfly way.

I saw a dream around him,

The love story kind,

The greatest type.

I am full awake,

Without him,

In my room with me.

He’s busy somewhere,

With someone,

The special one.

Happy for him,

That he found the one,

Whom he loves,

The way I love.

Angry with myself,

For loving that much,

To let him go without knowing, That I love,

Him,

More than I could ever serve anyone.

I’m holding some pieces,

Red in color,

Beating slower,

Symphonies playing,

In the background,

Trying to make whole from pieces again, And put it back,

Where it belongs.

No one’s hurt,

Just bleeding bright,

Since a fortnight.

Everything black,

I guess I am back,

In the arms of my grave,

with the love for my fate,

Living love stories in my head,

Me, him and a body of dead.
