In the hush of night's embrace,

Thine eyes, a radiant grace,

My heart beseeches to forsake,

Yet, in yearning, it shall wake.

Is this a mere nocturnal wisp,

Or fate's tender, lingering kiss?

Might thou be my predestined one?

Art thou the star beneath my sun?

As destiny's hand guides my fall,

Thine echo, love's eternal call,

I am bound, in thy tender sway,

Hold me close, till break of day.

In this fleeting, breathless span,

Linger with me, soul to man,

Dwell within my hidden core,

Dare I ask, art thou its shore?

In the veiled folds of night's repose,

Thine eyes, a beacon that glows,

My heart still yearns, it can't forget,

Hope lingers on, unmet.

If but a dream, let morning come,

Redeem this heart, if fate be mum,

Couldst thou be my destined one?

In destiny's dance, are we undone?

Turn I, from thy rhythmic beat,

Yet thy presence, ever sweet,

Breath halts, though distant we may be,

I wish to keep thee close to me.

Protect thee, from shadows' plight,
