Love Is You

Your warmth by my side,

Cuddling under our weighted blanket,

Under your twinkling fairy lights.

Oh, how I love the coldness of winter,

For it gives me the reason to warm your cold cheeks,

Tease you with snow in my hand.

Hear, hear, I love the rain—

Just walking under it as it soaks our soul,

Or dancing by your side,

As the drops caress your hair.

The look in your eyes,

Oh, the way you smile,

The way it brings out your childish side.

Breezing through the town as you hold my hand,

Be it a long drive or late at night.

You babble about all you care,

And how I despise when our destination comes,

Cutting short our moments,

Reducing your monologue's time frame.

Don’t you know how I adore summer nights?

Camping on the terrace, tracking constellations,

Creating our own heavens.

And so, so many things I hold dear—

With you by my side, I live with no fear.

Though all I love is in your name,

Each moment a blessing, keeping my heart tame.

Your palm in my hand, and the world is clear.

As I kiss your lips, I hold my world near.
