Love is an easy game

Silhouettes on the ceiling

At least I'm healing

Cigarettes on the counter

At least I ain't no flounder

We're finally done

After all these months

The first for many

It don't cost no penny

The sacrifices I made

The effort you put in

Isn't that enough

We even threw the truth in

It's sad to say

You gave up so easily

I should've known

Making me feel so queasily

I can't deal with this no longer

Love is such an easy game for you

I must admit it's hard to utter

There was never room for two

Baby please

How could you do this to me

Our love was on fire

You're my only desire

You broke me

When I finally felt free

You showed me what I could be

I know this was temporary

Was it a fleeting feeling

Or did I mean nothing

After all that happened

I still love you

Doesn't that mean anything?
