His eyes met mine,

It made my heart so brightly shine.

Side by side we walked passed the lane

Not a moment with him seemed to go in vain!

I never felt attached to anyone else ever,

So precious is my beagle, affectionate and clever!

I grabbed his paws and took him home.

The introvert me, thereafter never felt lone..!
