Lotus

On my way to cool out,

In frothy pond, glided a colourful trout.

Smelt musty, the mud beneath water,

Amidst, my eye spotted pinkish white softer.

Lotus, a charming day blooming plant,

Closes up and dreams at night.

Takes up arms from the sludge without stains,

Sets the viewers free from all pains.

Boat shaped thin papery leaves,

Mellow petals aquatic flower floats.

Spreads overwhelming fragrance of freshness,

Enlightens heart with absolute fairness.

Stands the logo of purity,

Nobility, victory and spirituality.

Enthroned and adored for its pliability,

Has the ability to exhibit its identity.
