We are laughing, we are talking, we are eating. 

I’m laughing, I’m talking, I’m eating… 

Where have you gone? 

There was no fight, 

No anger, no bitterness, 

No shouting, no screaming at all. 

There was no reducing calls, 

Just a few years later we no longer talk. 

Everything abruptly put on pause until I recalled who you were once. 

I guess I just lost you, someway, somehow. 

I cannot even summon our falling out, 

I figure that never occurred. 

I don’t remember when, 

I don’t remember how, 

I just know you used to be someone, 

You meant so much more. 

We are crying, we are playing, we are drinking. 

I’m crying, I’m playing, I’m drinking… 

Where have you gone? 

Always imagined my future with you in it, 

You were such a major part of my journey, 

Where do you fit in the picture now? 

I know I lost but maybe you no longer count. 

Are you leading a good life? 

Is a question that does not even cross my mind. 

I just…
