Born in the waters,

She gallops and gallops on the sea,

To reach the shore first,

She grudges on and on,

She has crossed half of the sea.

She has seen the people at the fringes of the sea,

The joy that she gets,

On seeing them is countless,

The thought of touching them,

Maker her squeal with joy.

Until she forms a huge crescent,

she has neared the shore,

The next moment she touches the feet of a small boy.

The boy jumps with joy,

Screaming and laughing at her sight,

And her cold touch.

The boy grips the fingers of his father,

He feels the sands and water taking him along with them,

His heart flutters,

He laughs at his own silliness.

He runs to his mother,

Squeaking with joy,

Narrating his first experience with the ripples,

Where one was happy,

The other was sad,

As she was forever lost in the sea.
