Losing People

It's not in a crowded place

where we lose people.

It happens in an empty room

with silence and regrets

commuting bodies.

All those memories that

arch rainbows to your dull sky,

are now gallows under

your private roof.

Everyday seems like yesterday

when those laughs ring in your head

and those twinkling eyes

are just stars too far to ask down.

It's easy when you know

a body's location won't change.

It's hell when it reappears differently

like your fear with new addresses.

When they are gone

parts of you walks out

and maybe that's why

you feel empty more than lost.
