Losing Art?

My poetry has been down

I write but the magic's missing

From the here and now.

I fear as I feel better

Will I lose my writing glitter?

Was poetry and I meant for a brief time?

I'm not in favour

Of romanticising pain

Or to ponder myself to death.

But I do fear

That will I not be able to spew art As I once used to.

Art is an artist's gift

To herself and the universe

She lives in.

Realising relatable realities

Provides comfort

That we're not alone in this mad mad world.

Pain turned her into a poetess

Will peace preserve the art?

Or will she lead herself to a stale start
