Long Awaited Reunion

There I was waiting patiently for a long time

knowing the truth that it’s not possible,

but I still pondered even hoped for our reunion.

A foolish notion to even let myself dreaming that

a long waited heartfelt encounter would be possible;

but little did I forget that in this world dream turns into despair.

Yes, a dream only where I can touch her, embrace her,

But alas! the reality when it strikes, it does harder

and fate laughed at me showing its true colors.
