Like The Sun And The Sea

Like the sun and the sea, never come close

We too stay, a horizon apart

We dance in shadows, our hearts withdrawn

Bound by the force of unseen traction

Yet tethered apart, on separate course.

Under the moonlit night, our souls entwine,

Echoes of longing, aching to define

But like stars scattered in the vast expanse

We remain distant, in a cosmic world

Our love a melody, unseen unheard

Lost in the depths of in-between.

Though the sun and the sea may never meet,

In the twilight, our love shines.

A horizon apart, yet intertwined,

In the in-between, our hearts collide.
