Light Me Again

you light me again

in this eternal fire

in rage and doubts i can’t explain

but here i go

making this same mistake

that i’ve always made

all for the love of you

that’s falsely caved

inside my brain

you ask me again, the same

question, that always remains

deep inside my mind as the flames

that make me burn myself

but here i go

running around the same chain

viciously binding to my shame

all my efforts that are erased

all for the doubts engraved in me

all for the mistrust

that i can no longer keep
