Light After The Rain

By Bhavya Srivastava

When the night feels endless and shadows stay,

When dreams seem lost and skies turn gray,

Remember every dusk that falls in sorrow

Still keeps a promise of a brighter tomorrow.

No darkness lasts, no silence stays,

Even the coldest heart finds rays.

The earth turns slow, the sun ascends,

Every ending softly bends to mend.

Hope is not thunder or sudden flame,

It whispers quiet, it speaks your name.

It hides in cracks where light can start,

It blooms in the corners of your heart.

The river flows though rocks may break,

It learns new paths with every ache.

And so must we though pain may stay,

We find our strength along the way.

There is beauty in the scars we bear,

Proof we fought, proof we care.

They shine like maps of battles won,

Etched by the moon, kissed by the sun.

Sometimes courage is just one breath,

A trembling step that defies death.

Not every victory roars or shouts,

Some bloom quietly as fear fades out.

You are the song the wind once lost,

You are the warmth in winters frost.

Even when broken, your spirit gleams,

You are made of starlight and dreams.

Do not chase the light, become its glow,

Let kindness teach your heart to grow.

For joy is not found far or wide,

It lives in the soul you hold inside.

When the world feels heavy, do not let it win,

Let your laughter break through the din.

A smile can mend what sorrow tears,

A gentle word outshines despairs.

The trees still sway though storms may scream,

They bow but never lose their dream.

Their roots hold deep, their faith runs true,

They stand tall because so can you.

Look at the sky, how it forgives,

Every night it fades yet lives.

The stars return when darkness reigns,

A lesson carved in heavens veins.

Forgive yourself for all you have been,

The falls, the doubts, the might have been.

You cannot bloom while holding blame,

Let mercy be your middle name.

There is magic in the tears we cry,

They wash the pain so hope can fly.

Each drop a seed the heart can sow,

From sorrows rain new gardens grow.

So walk ahead, do not fear the fall,

You will rise again, you always will.

The path may twist, the road may bend,

But even storms must one day end.

And when you stand where the sunlight gleams,

You will find the truth of all your dreams.

The dark was never there to win,

It was only teaching you to find the dawn within.
