Light

I’m inside a tunnel branching to its limit,

Damp and dark without air.

I see horror on my right ,

still as dead I stand.

None lit match or dark blinded my sight

Still as dead I stand.

Breath too short to survive,

distant howls kissed my ears.

Giants shook the tunnel’s core,

but I lay still.

Ground drenched my lips.

I feel flesh sliding its grip,

losing soul for glory

Eyes shut past and tunnel clasp

branches inside my timeline

Giants squeezed my bones,

but one more breath to exit

I lay like a pigeon…

light creeped to my right,

Revealing a man with glares in sight

Giants melted on ground

I saw a smile in distant

light burned the branches.

Air teared through the roofs

Flesh clench to my soul,

gushing same glare in my eyes.

Soon, I realised I was blind…
