Does the guilt and self pity exit your body when you gulp your wine?

Does your sorrow slip out of your hand, like your glass when your world comes crashing down?

Do you move on from life’s gall? Or does it bubble over like the yeast that fills your body?

Does the crystal clear glass make you feel seen?

Does the alcohol filled bottle accompany your solitude?

Does the music mute your thoughts or the concerns of others?

Do you slowly let go of life for a while as you indulge?

Does it bring you elation or does it distract you from your misery?
