Went she, with a sombre face

Her hands trembling.

That salver about to fall.

Oh look, their eyes on point

Scanning from head to toe.

No further questions asked

No negotiations made.

Deal was clear.

And yeah. The next month

Came he again,

Followed by a group of strangers.

He held her hand.

Yes that random guy

Who just turned into relative today

Took her to his car

Weeped them, waved their hands

And they said , that’s life.

Yes. That’s life
