Life.. Not A Rom-Com

By Sarthak Sahay

Life isn’t a rom-com maybe

But what’s common I could see.

Let it be the way you want it to

Everything is planned, what to do.

Ain’t shattered is my heart

Even not my feelings are hurt.

This I know it’s never too late

It’s just about patience to wait.

And whenever I look into your eyes

They propose a shine of sunrise.

So nothing I could see after you

Driving force to pursue lies in you.

In the midst of hell

I’ve found my heaven.

Just like pearls are found

Deep in the wavy ocean.

Even though things are never the same

But I always adore calling your name.

This I could surely claim

I won’t change ‘cause it’s a flame.
