Life Experiences

By Mahoor Zehra

“Getting old is like climbing a mountain, you get a little out of breath but the view is much clearer!” Life is a beautiful gift and aging is that aspect of life where you look back and say, “Has so much time passed since I last noticed?” Life may show you ups and downs but it makes you geared up for the forthcoming challenges, the challenges to prove how firm and well equipped you are to face the adventure of your life.

Life changes every day. Every day is a new beginning. Taking into account the first day, when you are unable to take in the world you see with your little eyes, continuing to where you are able to take you own decisions for yourself, believing in a promising future and ending with a satisfied life of gratitude. These stages are not just parts of life but times of experience from which you learn to live the present and prepare for the future without remorse or regret of ignorance. Try learning without shame, test yourself about what you have gained, and work for your future. Pondering about your objective of life and not realising the essence is hovering right in front of you is because you need to figure out where your destiny is, and work for that cause not just wasting time thinking about doing things which you possibly will repent about in the time to come.

Failures will come about but halting your attempts and struggles just because you were unsuccessful will not make you accomplish your ambition. Understand that life has many stages but remember no matter how old you grow, you are still the same person, just with a fresh perspective.

Whatever happens we must maintain our calm and prepare for the worst only to discover the best. Learn to decide your future and not wait for anyone else to assist you no matter what, just keep your mind, and find your own way and see where life leads you… Life won’t make a way for you, find your own path, it may have stones but as soon as you cross them, they will look like pebbles and you experience will act like your lantern.

Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness but bad days give you experience…
