Letting Go

Letting go isn’t giving up,

It’s knowing when enough’s enough.

It’s wiping tears you’ve let fall,

And learning you can still stand tall.

It’s holding memories close, but not too tight,

And walking away into the light.

It’s whispering “goodbye” through trembling lips,

While your heart still quietly rips.

Letting go feels like breaking apart,

Like pulling roots out of your heart.

But sometimes love means stepping away,

Even when you wish you could stay.

It’s finding peace in the empty space,

And letting time fill every trace.

It’s breathing deep, it’s moving slow,

It’s choosing yourself and letting go.

Because some things aren’t meant to last,

And holding on can hurt too fast.

So let the weight fall from your chest,

And trust that someday, you’ll feel at rest.
