Again I'll close my diary after I have written these letters and my words—for you, for him—will close on each other, they'll melt and become cluttered. The two worlds I try so hard to keep distinguished, different, away from merging, merge. The brief clarity will disappear and the ambiguous fog will start to leak again and it'll rest again in my heart; tattooed, imprinted.

That's a stunningly honest and resonant piece. It perfectly captures that ache of trying to keep two huge emotional currents separate, only to feel them clutter and melt in your heart. The image of the "ambiguous fog" resting in the heart, "tattooed, imprinted," is absolutely gorgeous and heartbreakingly real. A powerful, deeply felt poem. ✨. ,i will vote for afreen 💗✨
