Letter From the Sun-Kissed Moon

Mi amor, thy sun...

As I turn my thoughts into words and note them down this eternal night.

Unlike you, I feel nervous to confess that these are a sliver of hope filled with holy light.

For I know, for eternity, we are cursed to dance our separate ways.

And all I can do, is miss your smile on my loneliest days.

I laugh, as I say, that all my days are lonely out here.

A melancholy mind and a heavy heart are truly something mere.

But your radiant smile and joyful laughter is worth ten times my price.

We can only chase each other, but never synchronize.

The stars witness our endless, bittersweet, slow romance.

They stand as a shimmer of hope, for our love story, in a trance.

Although we are doomed, in our lives, to never meet.

Once again, as I finish my confession, our end remains incomplete.

Yours truly... sun-kissed moon.
