Lethargy Shake Off

I used to get up every morning

Go to the couch and doze off 

Waiting last minute to do things 

Till then in a corner I slumped

Each day passed off like this

Not even me knowing it's gone

Until the day I looked back 

And saw myself in a mess

Decided then, I wouldn't put off

I decided I'll work hard

Coz it's my life and no one cares 

I'm wasting my own time

You only get to live once

So make it up to your best 

And every time you get there 

Don't forget to thank your Lord

Took a book and went to my desk

Started writing down my goals

Suddenly everything made sense

And filled my heart with gold

I'll start to push myself

To be the best I can 

Untill the day when I truly say

My life is not so gray

Decided that, I wouldn't look back 

I decided I'll work smart

Coz it's my life, and I care a lot

I'll never waste my time

You might only get a chance once

So take yourself to the top

And every time just remind yourself 

That your Lord is always there... For you...
