Let Me In

Foghorns sound off,

And as you let it sink,

Peace ends and comes to the brink.

Stab myself with my desperation,

Trapped in the frustration of freezing out.

Never chasing clout,

But open the door and let me in.

Come as I am, the way I am,

Spouse or friend inside your house,

But I guess I don’t feel welcome,

Provided in seldom appearance,

Like me getting my hair dyed,

Or having my ears pierced.

Operate in nirvana,

Melancholy soothing in my insomnia,

Let the clouds down upon the earth,

Calming opposite of my birth.

I long to have peace by your side,

Your face facing mine,

In quiet free time.
