Lemonade

 When life gives you lemons, 

make lemonade. 

Add a splash of hope, 

and a pinch of faith displayed. 

Mix it with courage, 

and a heart that’s true. 

And you will find that, 

life’s lemons 

can be turned into something new. 

When life gives you rain, 

make a rainbow appear. 

Find the beauty in the storm, 

and let your spirit clear. 

When life gives you darkness, 

make a light shine bright, 

and guide yourself through the night, 

with a heart that’s full of light. 

When life gives you challenges, 

make opportunities arise. 

Find the strength between yourself, 

and reach for the skies. 

When life gives you setbacks, 

make comebacks your goals, 

and rise above the obstacles 

with a spirit that’s whole. 

So when life gives you lemons 

make lemonade indeed, 

and remember that life’s journey 

is what you make of your creed. 

For every lemon that life brings, 

there’s a chance to make it sweet, 

and turn life’s challenges 

into opportunities to find your unique beat.
