Our forebears talked of their sights on royalty,

Forestations, revolutions, cooperations, augmentations,

Discoveries, concoctions, ambrosial truths, aestheticisms,

Treacheries, secrets, contour, métier, women's grace,

God's actuality, bright-eyed men, licit minds,

And though many, all astomatous races.

Today, a grease of black with plastic is running

On an even charcoaled-color river joining a brown sea.

An undone cosmos, besmearing ozone, contaminated adulteration,

Wars, recessions, insurgencies, annihilations, bear markets,

Psychological delinquencies, hijackings, exhibitionism,

Biped tsunamis, torpedoes, baits, refugees, sleeper cells,

Human trafficking, rapists running wild, un-invented abuses of all kinds,

Extortionate apperceptions and questioning the Lord's kosher;

A damnable daemon,

Many discriminated races, none of which are extramundane.

What we want will not be ours, till it is also what we all truly believe.

And in the now that we are, we only accredit mutilation,

Therefore so it will be.

No more playful children in parks, old people on walks,

Clear cerulean skies, exultant and loud chortles.

No sullen voice singing like the nightingale in your soul,

Or happily ever afters, not even growth and evolution.

Whether it be our ancestors belief or our acceptance,

We are presently the better future of tomorrow,

A tomorrow which at this estimate might not even exist.

- A dedication to all the falsely accused, abused, tortured, suffering, dying, dead,

fighters for the right, a globally warmed up world & the soon-to-be-extinct-feeling

called love

Inspired by the song: Orange Sky by Alexi Murdoch - truly, in your love my salvation

lies ... in your love ...
