Last Man Standing

Everyone’s down, I stand alone. Scattered here and there, I stand like a stone. A dark night with gleaming lights that shone, In the windy weather and the chills we'd borne. Through many trials and tribulations we lay- Waste, in drunkenness.

The night had a fever, and we all took it in panache and in vain. I stand alone, the Last Man Standing, In a lonely place yet shining bright. I stand victorious, In a zero-sum game. A happy man, A sad winner.
