we saw each other everyday but never talked

again, still i was there to hold his hand.

i saw how he smiled with the other girl,

Just standing there and waiting for him to watch

me just once, as he stroked her apricot hair with

his thumb, i stood there watching the scene with

my whole body numb.

my lips parted as he kissed her on cheeks, maybe

it’s normal to move on in a few weeks, the weeks i

spent crying for him, now i saw how he devoured

her skin.

i watched him with shine in my eyes and prayed for

him to be only mine, but he stared at me as if i’m

just a plain line.

i loved him with all my heart as if he was some art,

but he just stood there being all smart.

the way he turned his back on me made me burn,

but i guess that’s what his love made me learn.

yes i missed what we had, but never wanting to go

back.
