Emerald eyes, a crown adorned with peacock's pride, 

A smile that captivates, a heart that's satisfied. 

Your mind, a tranquil sea, your flute, a soothing sigh

There is something about you, more than what meets the eye.

Kanha, before you, I'm but dust, a humble soul, 

Your flute's sweet melody, a balm that makes me whole. 

They hear your words, yet miss what you speak

All-knowing Krishna, you watch the world asleep

But with you by my side, I am awake to what I see. 

This world may change as the years pass

But in silence, I hear your name and my worries cease, 

My body relaxes, my mind finds peace.

You are the essence, the ultimate goal, 

My friend, my guide

Teach me to live, to love, to be free, 

For with you by my side, I'll always be.
