Killed My God

By Shreeyash Bahuguna

As I gaze into the abyss, all I saw was a mirror. what an empty shell of a being ,

But who is it to blame?

is it the people around drowning themselves in shallow weed and deep rum?

or

is it me against myself , just acting intellectual to make this cursed existence numb ,

why and how are they happy am I too dumb to see the

present of life ,

is it the curse bestowed upon me by the gods I sliced ?

if it is, I’m rejoiced,

by the veal scaloppine of their tender throats gaping

gave me a sweet delight ,

rejoiced that the omnipotents I created merged back to me ,

I dont need their agis upon me ,

the children I created for my amusement are now merged back to me ,

didn’t needed the false virtue of hating them , they were

my most beloved , that’s why I killed my love from these very hands ,

the hands that created them.
