Keep Working

The fate of this world

Is to pull and hold

Us down to the earth,

To make us doubt our worth.

The flying bird is free

But sometimes sits on a tree,

Resting and reflecting—

But people call it lazy and surrendering.

People curse, yet they will

Stay strong and not feel.

Work for what your heart says,

Forever-through years, months, &days.
