[धर्म-अधर्म]

यह धर्म-अधर्म की कहानी है,

गीता में दिया कृष्ण वाणी है।

ज़िंदगी ने सच दिखाया,

कुछ नहीं अपना यह सिखाया।

क्या मेरा था क्या रहेगा?

मृत्यु के बाद कौन कहेगा?

ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और महेश,

यह मिल जाएँ फिर क्या है शेष।

इन्हीं के तो अंश हैं हम,

स्वयं में ही विध्वंस हैं हम।

लड़खड़ाए तो वह साथ हैं,

फिर डरने की क्या बात है?

कल की छोड़, आज कर यही तुम्हारा कर्म है,

सत्य की राह चुनो यही तुम्हारा धर्म है।

तुम कहते दुनिया का क्या हमने ठेका लिया है?

पहले सोचो दुनिया को क्या तुमने दिया है?

यह जो भी दुनिया में तबाही कर रहे हो,

क्या इसका मूल्य अलग से तुम प्रकृति-माँ को भर रहे हो?

यह जो तुम पैसा-पैसा करके लोगों को दबोचते हो?

आने वाली पीढ़ियाँ क्या सीखेंगी, क्या यह कभी सोचते हो?

अपनी माँगें पूरी करने दुनिया को तबाह करोगे?

एक ही धरती के प्राणी, मूर्ख! अपने भाइयों से लड़ोगे?

खुद में ठीक बनो सब अपने आप ठीक हो जाएगा,

मृत्यु कभी तो होगी,

लड़कर जो पाएगा क्या उसे अपने संग ले जाएगा?

यह जो बेज़ुबान जानवरों को मारते हो,

क्या अपना गुस्सा तुम इन पर उतारते हो?

एक रोटी की ही तो माँग थी,

संपत्ति नहीं चाहा था जो तुमने तोड़ी इनकी टाँग थी।

अमीर बनकर क्या किया?

जब किया तुमने दान नहीं?

रोटी न सही प्रेम दो,

भर-भर कर अपमान नहीं।

चाहे तुम कितना ही अस्थियों को बहा लो,

चाहे कितना तुम गंगा में नहा लो।

मोक्ष तभी मिले जब पवित्र हो आत्मा,

जाने तुझे तुझसे भी ज्यादा वह परमात्मा।

जब स्वयं गंगा-पुत्र भीष्म,

बच न पाए अपने कर्म फल से,

तो कैसे सोच लिया तुमने?

बच जाओगे तुम नहाकर गंगा जल से?

गंगा गलती से किया पाप धोये,

मन में भरा पाप धोये न खोये।
