Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied

What if justice is delayed?

I have always wondered…

Does it make the crime fade?

Is the criminal free?

Or does justice invade?

Is the victim the only one suffering,

Or is the criminal too dismayed?

75 proud years of our independence,

The Constitution too persuades,

Justice for no one should ever be delayed!

In dreams of nation’s freedom and wisdom,

One’s justice should never be forbade!

For one if justice is delayed,

Is the justice denied for the other!

William Gladstone had once said…

The true essence of a nation comes,

When we let the justice spread.

Her with a blindfold and a weighing scale,

Is how justice is portrayed.

In this unjust world of today,

Where justice is denied,

Once it is delayed

Prudentia still awaits…
